We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: as OG '90s teens, 2023's obsession with the final decade of the millennium and silver eyeshadow is hella dope with us. From music and movies, to fashion and real estate trends, the '90s is back in a big way.

You know what else is back? Our favorite '90s Boise Bench home! As of Mar. 27, it’s back on the market and toying with our emotions! We were on a scroll through Boise Redfin a few hours ago when the house and its storied listing history caught our eye. Check it out:

• Dec. 28, 2022: Delisted
• Mar. 17, 2023: Listed Active

Strange, isn’t it? We tried imagining why the current homeowners are struggling to close the deal on this architectural beauty, and we’re at a loss for answers.

What Gives?

Is it more '90s than most buyers are down to handle? Maybe it’s too big or the landscape is too high-maintenance? Or perhaps Boise’s fluctuating housing market is the culprit?

In March of this year, KIDO Talk Radio host and all-things-Idaho guru Kevin Miller, noted Boise’s shift from a “seller’s to a buyer’s market.” That info coupled with the home’s price-drop from $1.9 million to $1.8 million has us even more eager to understand why no one’s bought our ‘90s dream home.
