Fall Is Here Because Bath & Body Works Says So
I'm over summer. I hate to say it because I actually love summer on such a level. But by the time it hits August I'm ready for fall. I can only tolerate profuse sweating for so long. And I'm beyond excited to experience a Boise fall full of brilliant autumn colors and crisp air. The forecast still predicts some warmer temperatures ahead, but Bath & Body Works started their huge fall sale, so I'm celebrating early.
Thankfully the location in Meridian Crossroads is open (with Covid-!9 precautions in place) for in-store purchases. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a swirl of autumnal scents. Front and center was a glorious display of 3-wick candles with all my favorite scents: Sweater Weather, Blueberry Maple Pancakes, Pumpkin Pecan Waffles, and Flannel. At over 50% off original price, I had to stock up. The limit is 20 per customer, so I didn't have to worry about that. I grabbed a couple of each.
As soon as I got home I lit Sweater Weather and set the tone for a cozy night in. I even made myself some hot chocolate. I don't care what my weather app says. I'm officially in fall mode.
