Exit 33 in Nampa on I-84 Will Experience Lane Reductions
The Idaho Transportation Department and the City of Nampa are trying to spread the word about another construction project that will cause lane reductions beginning on Wednesday, July 24th at exit 33 in Nampa. The work will occur from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to avoid peak commuter traffic hours and the hope is to have the project completed by the second week in August.
The ITD is increasing the width of the shoulder on the exit ramp to give large trucks more room when exiting to Karcher Blvd.
During the project, one southbound lane on Midland Blvd will be closed at the Karcher bypass intersection and one right-turn lane at the exit 33 ramp will be closed.
The ITD has put together a page online that has all the information regarding this project if you want to know more click here. If you want to stay in the know about all things going on with the ITD click here to visit their Facebook page.
Please drive very carefully when traveling through this and all construction projects.
