Donate Remotely To The 12 Days Of ChristMIX Toy Drive

Who knew when Moug & Angie Mornings announced the 12 Days of ChristMIX Toy Drive the Treasure Valley would show up in spectacular fashion to make this vision come to fruition? The goal: Collect toys, cash and gift cards, and bikes to ensure a happy Christmas for families having a rough go of it this year. We partnered with amazing sponsors and charitable organizations (Boise Rescue Mission, Idaho Office for Refugees, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho, Women's and Children's Alliance) to get the ball rolling and set the stage. Then we went on air and made a call to action not knowing what the answer would be.

After 9 days it is abundantly clear that the Treasure Valley gave a resounding "yes" to coming together in a bigger way than we could have imagined. Our initial goals: in cash and gift cards, 50 bikes, fill a 53 ft truck trailer with toys. This community has met those goals and then some. Over $6K in cash and gift cards, over 50 bikes, and the back of that truck is bursting with toys.

We are overflowing with gratitude. But there are a few days left of Toy Drive and we can't stop encouraging more donations. There are so many families in need, especially the way 2020 has been, we're not closing shop early when there's still opportunity to help even more!

But the season is busy. We know you have jobs and lives and responsibilities. There may not be a good time for you to swing by The Village at Meridian to drop off a toy. You might not have time to go shop. But if you're feeling compelled to donate money, you can do so remotely to the Mix 106 12 Days of ChristMIX Toy Drive Venmo account.
