Being a pet owner is a privilege, we are so fortune to have such amazing furry family members just waiting for us to get home each day. But it also comes with the responsibility of being a responsible pet owner. That goes above just picking up after your animals, it's about getting their vaccines and microchip too.

The YCOPS and the Caldwell Animal Control Officers have teamed up with West Valley Humane Society and Zamzows to offer discount pet chipping and rabies vaccines for both dogs and cats. The event will be on June 15th at the Caldwell Family YMCA (3720 S. Indiana Ave.)

If you are one of the first 300 people who get their pet chipped during the event, you will automatically receive a $5 gift certificate to Zamzows.

The cost for the microchip will be reduced to $25 per animal and the rabies vaccine will be $15 per animal. All dogs must be leashed and cats must be in carriers for this event.
