Mike is always the first one to cry! And as long as I don't look at him I can hold it together and that's pretty easy since I only come up to his belly button. Things were a little different this year....

Delivery day at St. Luke's Children's Hospital is one of my most favorite days of the year! Everyone in the hospital is always thanking us (after they laugh at our elf costumes) but what they don't realize is that we get so much more out of delivering our stockings then probably the kids do!

For the 3 hours that we spend going room to room in the Children's Hospital, we are reminded of the true miracles of Christmas. Miracles in the form of smiles, miracles in eyes that light up, miracles in a tiny giggle, miracles of parents taking a moment to push pause on the worrying. So we should be thanking you St. Luke's Children's Hospital. Thank you for reminding us what the spirit of Christmas is all about. Thank you for allowing us into the lives of all these children who are true angles. Thank you parents for letting us invade your privacy and sharing your struggles that we couldn't even begin to comprehend and thank you to all the children who have taught us what it is to be a believer in miracles! "My cup runneth over."
