Costco Says Goodbye to Popular Food Court Item
You'll want to sit down for this news. Costco just announced their decision to remove the Polish Dog from their menu. Is there anything LESS American to announce on the Fourth of July week than the decision to get rid of the affordable polish dogs from the menu!?!
I can't tell you how often I go to Costco *just* to sit on their picnic-style tables and grub down on these delicious dogs. Fortunately, while Costco isn't being too chatty about what (if any) other changes we can expect, they have confirmed that their $1.50 hot dog and soda combos will remain. It's not quite the same, but for the price, it's hard to beat.
Rumors are already circulating about which menu items might take the Polish Dog's place. One of the healthier options could be an acai bowl or an al pastor salad. Yum!
Still bummed? Fear not. Costco has confirmed that while you can't enjoy the cheap Polish Dogs at the food court, they will still be sold in bulk in the refrigerator section.
