Boise Restaurant Shutting Down After 30 Years

They've been a staple in Boise for three decades, but now this Treasure Valley restaurant is saying goodbye. 

According to an article on idahonews.com, Sizzler at the Boise Town Square Mall is closing its doors today. Why? Owner Buster Minshew says increased operational costs, road construction on Cole Road, and the expiration of their lease have all led to the decision.

My kids will be sad about this. Although I haven't frequented a Sizzler in years (no real reason why) my children and my ex-husband love going Sizzler for their steak and salad bar.

Luckily, if you're a fan of the restaurant chain, we still have two Treasure Valley Sizzler locations that will remain open. Eagle Road in Meridian and Caldwell Blvd in Nampa.
