Boise Rescue Mission Seeks Volunteers for This Holiday Season
My wife and have I raised seven kids between us so, needless to say, the holidays are a big deal for our family. We are incredibly fortunate to have a warm meal, a cozy home, and presents under our tree. However, many people here in the Treasure valley don’t have some of these simple things for the holidays that we often take for granted….and that’s where you can help.
The Boise Rescue Mission is currently seeking volunteers for their holiday needs including their Christmas Turkey Roundup, Banquets, and Christmas Store at City Light. Help is also needed for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Years at the Mission. Volunteering is open for individuals as well as families.

One of my favorite parts of working here at Mix 106 and actually living here and being a part of our community is being able to help others here in the Treasure Valley. The holidays are right around the corner and our help is needed to make these days special for others who might not be as lucky as us, so if you can help, here’s your chance.
Each year Boise Rescue Mission seeks to fill 1,000 volunteer slots between now and December 31. This is a great opportunity to get your family involved in community service, show them the true meaning of Christmas, and serve up some holiday cheer to those in need in our city
