We're seeing more and more of this particular trend nationwide and now, it's coming to major events here in the Treasure Valley, too.

Just last week, we shared with you that Treefort Music Festival would be requiring either proof of vaccination or proof of a NEGATIVE COVID-19 test within an applicable period of time leading up to event attendance. Now, more events are following suit as our area sees an undeniable uptick in positive COVID-19 cases.

Boise Pride Festival, last summer, had to completely cancel and out of an abundance of caution, moved the party to September to give COVID a little more time to settle down. Unfortunately, we're still dealing with it.

If you choose to provide a negative COVID test--it's important to note that ANY test administered prior to Thursday, September 9th WILL NOT be accepted. Masks are also being encouraged for unvaccinated individuals.

As always, Boise Pride Fest is expected to be a major draw for the community in the streets of downtown Boise. Steps to keep the city safe while keeping COVID-19 case numbers down as much as possible are underway and that's something to be....PROUD of!

We will continue to keep you updated on when and how to skip those vaccination-verification lines along with any other news.

Boise Pride Fefstival is set to take place September 10th-12th!
