Boise Police Need Your Help With Suspect Still At Large
It seems like as our city grows so too does the amount of crime. The Boise Police Department are asking for your help with an incident that happened on Saturday.Over the last few days, Nicole has read stories on the Mix Morning Show about robberies and bank heists that seem to be happening more and more in our "small" town. On Thursday a Boise man was arrested for sexually assaulting a realtor who was showing him a house for sale in Meridian. Catch up on that story with my blog HERE. Over the weekend another assault happened very close to the campus of Boise State in the Lincoln Garage.
According to reports from KBOI Channel 2 in Boise, a woman was attacked inside the garage sometime either Friday or Saturday. The victim was walking in the stairwell of the garage when the suspect grabbed her and tried to force her to remove her clothes. Luckily, she was able to break from the suspect and got away. She described the suspect to BPD:
- A white male, somewhere between 20 and 30 years old.
- About 5'6 and possibly weighing about 180 lbs.
- He does not have a beard but looks to be growing out some stubble.
- Hair color is light, possibly a dirty blonde. She couldn't get a great view of this because the suspect had a dark gray hat on.
- Also wearing a gray sweatshirt with no logo.
Campus officials have yet to comment on the incident, but advise students to try and always walk in a group and stay in lighted areas of campus and to alway be aware of your surroundings.
