Women & Girls Celebrate International Women's Day on Bogus Basin

BOISE, Idaho. On Sunday, Mar. 5, SheJumps invites local women and girls to a Get the Girls Out event at Bogus Basin, Idaho's premier mountain recreation area and ski resort! SheJumps is a nonprofit committed to bolstering the involvement of girls and women in outdoor recreation sports and activities.

It makes perfect sense that the adventure-prone nonprofit would host a local Get the Girls Out event nine years in a row! An initiative that encourages women and girls to challenge the outdoor sports world, GTGO is a national campaign to "to unite women and girls as they support, challenge, mentor, and inspire each other."

Held close to and in observation of International Women's Day, GTGO is a multi-faceted opportunity for female Idahoans of all ages to develop and challenge their life skills as they conquer the slops of the Boise Ridge Mountains.

Get the Girls Out Event Details

When & Where. Sunday, Mar. 5, 9:30 am to 3:00 pm MST

Location. 1731 North Bogus Basin Road, Horseshoe Bend, ID 83629

Event Cost. Registration is complimentary and guarantees each participant one raffle ticket; participants can purchase additional raffle tickets at the event

Lift Tickets. Lift tickets must be purchased through Bogus Basin & are not included in the complimentary registration

Event Activities. Participants will engage in mountain and base-area activities, group skiing, a raffle, and after-party

What to Wear. Appropriate attire allows for unrestricted movement & comfort
