How are we already halfway through April?! I'm definitely not complaining. If anything I'm excited. The further we get into 2021, the more there is to do around the Treasure Valley. Nicer weather always breeds fun. Zoo Boise has been open as well as Idaho Reptile Zoo. But one of the Treasure Valley's favorite petting zoos has been in hibernation all winter. Babby Farms has been closed for months, but will finally re-open next month.

In the interim Babby Farms has taken to Instagram to keep us up to date and enamored of all their amazing animals. I've particularly enjoyed all the monkey adventures.

How do you not just fall in love? I've been checking in daily for a dose of cuteness. There's a sloth that's melted my heart and I can't wait to see him in person.

Reopening is May 1st, so there are still a couple weeks before the public can enjoy all the adorables, including kangaroos and camels. But if you've got a kiddo between the ages of 5 and 12, they can sign up for the final Jr. Zookeeper session this Saturday, April 17th. They'll get to learn about what it takes to care for the animals and interact with them. It's a good way to get your zoo fix a little early to avoid it being crowded on opening day.

I'm personally going to wait for Mother's Day to head over. Admission is free for mommies and they'll also have a taco truck. Free admission, cutie critters, and tacos--recipe for the best day ever.
