Attempted Abduction Reported in Twin Falls

Just reading the headline alone is scary, as we are finding out that police are investigating a story of a woman in Twin Falls who was forced into a van by two men. We first got word from our friends at KTVB about the incident that took place just before 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31st near the 200 block of Canyon Street.

The woman reported to officers that the horrific incident started in the area of 6th Avenue West and Shoshone Street South, she was duct taped and forced into a full-sized van by two men. The only description we have on the vehicle so far is that it was white in color. The woman reports that she was able to escape from the van near Canyon Street.

After looking at surveillance images of the area police had a possible suspect vehicle, but later said the van that was suspected to be involved was not any part of this incident.
