The bane of my existence is washing my hair. I have remarkably thick, naturally curly hair that takes forever to thoroughly wash, condition, detangle, and dry. It's such a process. So the fewer times I have to go through it, the better, In any case, daily washing isn't good for the scalp or hair.

But almost every woman knows that a couple days without a wash leads to oily, sometimes smelly hair. That's where dry shampoo comes in to save the day. Soaks up the oil and leaves a fresh scent between washes. But all dry shampoos are not created equal!

Batiste Dry Shampoo was one of the first brands on the market, and boy is it trash. Not only is it over priced, but it seems to make my hair somehow more oily. Aussie Dry Shampoo is like only spraying fragrance in your hair. Pointless. Suave Dry Shampoo is at least cheap and kind of soaks up the oil.

But if you want bang for your buck, high quality dry shampoo, Tresemme Volumizing Dry Shampoo is the absolute way to go. I can go 8 days without a wash and still wear my hair down so long as I use it. People will compliment my hair and be surprised when I tell them how long it's been since I washed it because it looks so fresh and not at all oily.

I'm on day 10 of dirty hair currently...but I'm still lazy to wash it, so into a ponytail it goes! Let me know if there's a different dry shampoo I should try!
