Jumping on the bandwagon and curating a "Best Of" list for the end of 2020. I mean, all the cool kids are doing it. While 2020 put the kibosh on almost everything, music is not one of them. Sure, concerts were out of the question. But artists weren't stingy about  releasing incredible music to get us through this nightmare. Here are the songs that made quarantine and pandemic life bearable:

Technically "Blinding Lights" by the The Weeknd was released at the end of 2019, but it caught fire in 2020 and brought a modern 80's vibe you can't help but groove to no matter how deep you are in pandemic misery.

Once we realized the pandemic wasn't ending any time soon, lots of us spent time pondering if this is the end of the world as we know it and reflecting on our lives and past relationships. JP Saxe and Julia Michaels released the soundtrack to those thoughts with "If The World Was Ending."

Controversy aside, Cardi B and Meg Thee Stallion's "WAP" is the bop that made us feel like we were in the club when really we were dancing in the living room wearing pajamas. It's a travesty the way 2020 robbed it from being a club anthem, but there's always 2021.

Of course Taylor Swift's "Cardigan" is on the list. Written, recorded, and released during quarantine, that song is brimming with all the emotion. The cause for many a cathartic shower cry, "Cardigan" had us in our feels over relationships we never even had. And we loved it!

Finally, while 2020 had bad news raining down on us, Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande released "Rain On Me" to temper the sting (I love puns). The powerhouse vocals and climactic dance beat had everyone feeling like a pop star diva.
