When making travel plans now it seems like almost everyone is looking at traditional hotels but becoming more and more popular is Airbnb. As first reported by KBOI, an astounding $37.5 million dollars were made by owners just here in the state of Idaho. In Ada County alone there was $8 million dollars brought in hosting 73,000+ guests.

Personally a big group of friends and I all pitched in on a gigantic house in Las Vegas for one weekend and it was amazing. It gave us all the comforts of being at home and also quick accessibility to the Vegas strip. I have become a big fan of Airbnb although I will admit I never even thought about it when vacationing recently in Cabo.

Airbnb can be a great way to find cool properties that you would never even attempt to rent normally. Plus you can find something in just about any price range, it's easy to see why it is so popular here in the Treasure Valley.
