I hate when violence like this disrupts our overall peaceful and serene community. Two people were stabbed in the Treasure Valley in the past few days.  One of them with life-threatening injuries.

A 26-year-old woman was stabbed at a mobile home park in Caldwell around noon today. The stabbing took place near Joliet Street and 5th Avenue.

According to an article on KTVB, that details the crime, the woman is in serious but stable condition at a Boise area hospital this evening.

Police detained several people at the scene of the stabbing, but they turned out to be witnesses to the stabbing and not suspects in the crime.

No one is officially being called a suspect in this case at this point, but two women are being questioned.

The suspect's identity has not been released.

In a separate stabbing, the suspect is behind bars and a 47-year-old man named Todd Kopp is battling life-threatening injuries.

According to KTVB, the stabbing took place at a home in Payette and 34-year-old Inslee Jordan has been arrested on aggravated battery charges. He is being held on a $500,000 bond and so far a motive or the relationship between Jordan and the victim has not been released.

Let's pray for peace and the full recovery of both of these victims in our community.
