Thanks to all of our 12 listeners for sharing their thoughts on the newest hottest thing in holiday illumination. The new Star Showers lights are what I decided to pull the trigger on and purchased some for myself.  Special thanks to Deb, for finding the lights at Walmart in Mt. Home, because all the other outlets I checked in Boise were sold out. Here are the results.

(WARNING, LANGUAGE MAY BE OFFENSIVE TO SOME) I attended a holiday party this past weekend that was showing a Yule log scene featuring actor Nick Offerman sitting in a big comfortable chair, drinking scotch.  That's it, no music, nothing but a roaring fire and a guy drinking scotch.  I thought it was brilliant, but not as brilliant as this realistic yule log Christmas scene.

This is both well done and hilarious. Oh, and don't be offended, it's for a good cause too.
