It's one of those rights of passage and something that can cause some stress (and at times hurt feelings).  Prom.  What if students didn't choose their own dates?

We've got some good ones in Idaho.  The Orofino Maniacs have gained some attention for being odd, and the Shelby High Russets usually get noticed for capitalizing on our love for the spud. And those Idaho Vandals...well, the Vandal is a Viking, but the mascot name can sound a lil criminal. Vote here for the weirdest mascot in Idaho.

He taught himself to play guitar and spent over a thousand hours writing the new musical that's about the debut at Rocky Mountain High School.  The story is pretty incredible.

This is what they've worked for.  It's that time of year that high school football standouts get offers from colleges and start to make the decisions on where they'll play football on Saturdays in the fall. We've got the news on the players Boise State might be collecting from across the country.

Oh my goodness, have you heard about this sweet story? A high school in Portland, Oregon awarded a diploma to a 100-year-old former student who was never able to graduate. What makes this even more special is that the school is also celebrating its 100th year...

So you just graduated from High School, Congrats. What's the one thing you want to do first? Plan your next semester starting at Boise State University or maybe the U of I? Oh come on man..give me some time to enjoy the no school thing, you more than likely are thinking. Ok I get that, but planing early can make for an easy transition during the summer months.

A Horseshoe Bend High School teacher is taking the lessons outside of the classroom, by leading his construction class as they build a tiny house from the ground up. Eric Moore has been leading his students through the project each year for the last three school years...
