Two Halloween costume ideas that hit a hot button this week involve sensitive news stories.  Would you wear a Caitlyn Jenner costume?  What's the other idea that's got social media in a frenzy?

My son Colton and I took part in the YMCA Halloween Fun Run downtown this weekend.  We had a great time and completed the "Monster Mile" - a far more challenging accomplishment in our Mario Brothers costumes.

I know we still have a week to go, but I can 100% guarantee you, that nothing will top this costume. It's my favorite!

Taylor Swift and her cat are supposed to be popular this Halloween. If you have a small white cat, call her Olivia Benson and put on a cute dress, and you're Taylor Swift.  Perfect costume for single gals, if you don't mind carrying a cat around all night at your Halloween party. What else will be popular?  You may see a few ice buckets at parties.  Oh dear.

I have a friend who painted her big pregnant belly like a pumpkin one year.  She wore an orange t-shirt and pulled it up above the baby bump, and painted the bump orange with jack-o-lantern eyes.  When the baby kicked, it looked like the pumpkin was possessed, but it was still fun.
