YMCA Idaho Potato Marathon Is Coming Soon
The Treasure Valley sure does love to run. There is no shortage of 5K's 10K's and other outdoor race events. The YMCA "famous" Idaho Potato Marathon, Saturday May 18th, is surely one of the best. The race is sponsored by the Idaho Potato Commission and can be used as a qualifier for the Boston Marathon. All racers can enjoy the Idaho Potato bar afterwards.
Marathons and half marathons this year, start at 7a.m. at Sandy Point Park. If you're looking for something a little more intense, the 5k and 10k start at Albertson's parking lot(West Corner) 250 E Parkcenter Blvd in Boise. Medals are awarded for all distances.
Groups are encouraged, so if you can pull together your coworkers, friends, church, classmates or maybe the whole family, you can sign everyone up together.
