The Idaho chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is hosting the Treasure Valley Out of the Darkness Walk this Saturday, September 30.

The walk will raise awareness and funds for the AFSP to invest in new research, create educational programs, advocate, and support survivors and families of suicide loss.
The walk is this Saturday, September 30 at Julius Kleiner Memorial Park in Meridian. Check-in and “day of” registration starts at 8:30 a.m. and the walk begins at 10 a.m.

Losing someone to suicide or struggling with mental illness can make you feel like you are alone. Wearing a color based on your connection will help unite you with the community and show that you are not alone.
