Village at Meridian Becomes Mass Vaccination Location
The gender reveal for our little one on the way will be in March. I'm not sure how we'll make this announcement but probably something simple like dropping a cake from a hot air balloon. We do know that Saint Alphonsus will be the home of our third to be announced.
We all adore the teams over at Saint Alphonsus and our kids love their pediatrician. That doesn't get you head of line vaccine privileges though (I tried!) Saint Alphonsus did just roll out a new plan that includes a separate location beginning Thursday.
If you have your COVID-19 vaccine appointment anytime after Wednesday you will need to meet out in Meridian. The Village at Meridian will be the new location for all Saint Alphonsus COVID-19 vaccinations.
Locations Moving to the Village
- Boise
- Nampa
- Southwestern Idaho
This will streamline all locations, vaccines to one location as Saint Alphonsus takes over the old Gordman's location next to the Boise Co-op. This will be a permanent off-site Mass Vaccination Clinic according to Saint Alphonsus.
"We have been holding vaccination clinics at our Idaho hospitals and clinics since mid-December and have administered more than 25,000 vaccine doses in Idaho," said Jennifer Misajet, Regional Chief Nursing Officer for Saint Alphonsus Health System and Vice President of Operations for Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center. "By consolidating all these clinics to one central and easily accessible location with convenient parking, we will be able to streamline the vaccination process and reduce the disruption and inconvenience to patients and staff at our hospitals and family medicine clinic locations."
