Keke Palmer gained notoriety with her breakout role in Akeelah and the Bee and parlayed that success into starring in her own Nickelodeon series, True Jackson, VP. She's been steadily working ever since. At just 27 years old she's got 92 acting credits on IMDB and has also established herself as a singer. But where I think she truly shines is twitter.

Queen of clap backs and ultimate hype, she's a fun follow on the social media site. Even better, she hits you with gems of wisdom you didn't realize you needed. Here are a few of her recent tweets that had me in my thoughts:

"This social media trend of trying to literally criticize everyone to the bone is not fun nor cute. People aren’t perfect, you’re never gonna like ALL of everything. NEVER."
"You don’t have to throw out the baby with the bath water. You can like some things about someone and dislike others, it’s possible for someone to be flawed and still be beloved."
How absolutely true. Not sure what it is about the social media age that we hyper focus on flaws, forgetting that they're normal to have and we ALL do. And it's ok. Honestly, I'm more flawed than the average human but I still think there is a lot of good in me. I'd hate to be dragged with the vitriol some of these people spew. So toxic.
"No matter how old I get I hope I still let the kids teach me things. So I may always be wise."
THIS! The youth know far more than they are given credit. They are often unfairly dismissed. I love that she recognizes there is worth in the opinions and knowledge of the younger generation.
"Y’all in them comments going in on fast food jobs but ITS A JOB AINT IT LOL. Pride have a lot of y’all out here broke for no reason and could BECOME the manager. Or even they content creator, COME ON NOW! #letshustle"
All of the praise for her going against the classist notion that being employed in fast food is somehow shameful. If you're working hard it doesn't matter what you do. You deserve respect.
I could go on and on. She's goals for me. If you're not following her on twitter you should get on that ASAP.
