The Pumpkin Spice Latte Returns to Boise This Month
If you were the one spreading "ready for Fall" memes around social media over the weekend, this is the news that you've been waiting for!
I'll be honest, when we had a few gloomy mornings last week I was secretly hoping that if I walked outside it really wasn't still 95+ degrees. It looked like it should've been in the mid-40s with a cool fall wind blowing through the leaves. You know, the kind of weather that just goes with a Pumpkin Spice Latte. I'm ready. Are you?
If you're nodding your head, here's what we know! You should be able to buy yourself the official PSL from Starbucks just in time to sip on it as you're watching the hot air balloons rise out of Ann Morrison Park at the Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic! According to Hip 2 Save, insiders say the Pumpkin Spice Latte will return to Starbucks stores on Tuesday, August 27!
And this year, it's not JUST the PSL coming to the menu. They're also unveiling a new fall drink called the "Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew." It's described "as pumpkin cream cold foam made with vanilla sweet cream and pumpkin spice sauce layered on top of a Starbucks Cold Crew sweetened with vanilla syrup and pumpkin spice topping." It might not be something you'll drink clear into Thanksgiving season, but JUST in case the beginning of "pumpkin everything" season here in Boise happens to hovering around 85-90 degrees, it sure does sound refreshing!
