The biggest winner in Idaho history was a big one, Idahoan Brad Duke won $220.3 Million. While we are thrilled for Brad, who according to "started a family foundation for children and paid a helicopter to fly him and a buddy to the top of a Canadian glacier so they could mountain bike to the bottom."
Former BSU player Steve bought the ticket at Fred Meyer in Garden City on Friday. He scratched the ticket almost right away and quickly realized he'd won the top prize. He wasted no time going to the Lottery offices in Boise to collect. While at the Lottery office, he got another surprise.
The timing for this couple is quite interesting. Kameron actually gave her notice at work that day. She was leaving her job and probably pretty nervous about how that would effect finances. It was later that same day that Charles called Kameron to tell her they had won. Talk about a sign that she did the right thing.
With the Mega Millions lottery reaching over half a BILLION dollars, we decided to finally take our chances at playing the odds.
