Iditarod

The Iditarod Dog Sled Race is days away from it's completion. Mushers and their dogs have been racing through the Alaskan wilderness, and at night their guided by the northern lights.

My trip to Alaska to see the ceremonial start of the Iditarod Dog Sled Race was unbelievable! Good thing I took lots of photos so you can believe me!

During the Iditarod festivities in Anchorage, there is a Reindeer Run. Crazy runners race down the street as reindeer chase them. Good times!

While in Alaska for the Iditarod, we stumbled across a reindeer sausage eating contest. Only in Alaska can a girl see a sight like this!
