Boise State has a big game coming up on national television tonight. While it's great to be in the spotlight, with the TV time outs and regular time outs, are the games too long? Some basketball games might get a whole lot shorter.

It takes a long time to rack up 600 wins!  Thirty years in fact, and one Boise State coach has done it.

News out of Salt Lake City this morning is that the Idaho Stampede, who are owned by the Utah Jazz, are moving from Boise to Salt Lake City next year.

Thanks to everyone who came out last night to the final game of the season for the Idaho Stampede. We love seeing our Mix 106 section packed with fans! We had a great time hosting fun and games on the court during the game! So sad that it's over but looking forward to a fresh start to a new season in November...

It was a fun night at the Idaho Stampede home opener with MIX 106's Mike and Kate.  The crowd was at the edge of their seats all night, but Iowa stepped it up and unfortunately took the game with the final score of 94-87.  Win or lose, there is nothing like supporting our team right here at home. ...

Next week, Ike & I get to host the season opener for the Idaho Stampede. I'm so excited, but it's not for the reason you might be thinking.

You've probably seen the headlines about March Madness, and how employers are faced with dilemmas about whether to ban basketball-watching and bracket-checking at the office or just let it slide.  People are gonna check scores anyway right?  I mean we've got our smart phones.  Seems like a losing battle.  One Linkedin blogger says bosses should go ahead and embrace the Madness.

One team kept scoring and scoring, and the other team didn't, and now the coach of the winning team is being criticized for running up the score.  What would you do?
