One of the 49 competitors is 13 year old Ian Peachey. This will be his second winter games. He practices every weekend and last year, all of his hard work paid off. He won two gold medals!
Ian was diagnosed with Autism at just 3 years old. Over the years his love for sports grew and he got involved with the Special Olympics. His family said he wants more than anything to be involved and accepted and the Special Olympics gives him that!
