If you think back to when you were a kid, I guarantee there was one teacher who played an instrumental role in you growing up to be who you are today. There's probably a teacher like that in your child's life already, so why not give them the ultimate "thank you" gift?

The words "thank you" will never be enough to express my gratitude for my high school television production teacher and high school track coach.  Even as a woman in my 30s, I find myself constantly calling on the lessons and values these two incredibly selfless individuals taught me as I was growing up.  When you hear people say that good teachers can inspire hope, ignite the imagination and instill a love of learning in their students, Mr. Sullivan and Coach G were the type of teachers they were talking about.  If this opportunity had existed back when I was in school, I would've have absolutely nominated them for it!

Leading up to Teacher Appreciation Week in May, Norwegian Cruise Line is accepting nominations for outstanding teachers who spread the joy of learning throughout their communities to enjoy a well deserved week of relaxation at sea! They'll accept nominations and votes via their "Giving Joy" website through April 12. The top 15 teachers receiving the most votes will be invited to a special award ceremony in Seattle this May where they'll have an opportunity to win a grand prize of $15,000 for their school!

The coolest part? All 15 finalists receive cruise for two (including hotel and airfare to get you to the boat) for these amazing educators to unwind and relax aboard the Norwegian Joy!
