Nampa Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony Details

I'm sure that some people are going to say it's too early to be talking about Christmas, I say Bah Humbug.

Last year I had the privilege of seeing my first ever City of Nampa Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony and it was amazing. I was shocked to see how many families made it a tradition to join in on the festivities downtown Nampa on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

The event this year is set for Saturday, November 30, 2019 and once again taking place outside the historic Nampa Train Depot located at 1200 Front Street downtown Nampa.

I would suggest making a day of it and visiting lots of the tremendous shops in downtown Nampa before the Tree Lighting festivities begin around 5:15 p.m. with lots of community leaders on hand and what normally turns into a community sing-a-long of Christmas songs before the tree lighting at 6:00 p.m.
