It's a tradition and I am so happy I did not miss. I am happy that I have friends I started a new tradition with, in the Treasure Valley.

Leaving the area I lived for so long with so many years of attending this event I wasn't sure how I would feel, I had checked the dates of course and new they had a showing every year in Boise. I met a guy that worked at the fly shop here locally a while ago so I mentioned to him that I wanted to go. We decided to go together and I invited my friend Nicole who is wanting to get into more adventure so it was perfect.

It was a full house at both shows I heard, and the energy was grand. Great organizations that make it about giving back and conservation: The Ted Trueblood TU ( Trout Unlimited) Chapter, Casting for Recovery, BHA ( Backcountry Hunters and Anglers) were all in attendance at the F3T event in Boise.

I met a few fly tiers that may help me start a fly tying class here in Boise like we had and still have going thanks to Grizzly Hackle where everything is free and it includes food and drink.

The Egyptian Theater was such an awesome venue too. Can't wait for next year!!
