Local High Schools Use Rivalry Game to Help Families Affected by Cancer
There’s a big local high school rivalry game tonight! Skyview and Bishop Kelly play and students and staff are coming together to use the big game to do some good for local families in the community!
On the sidelines, there will be efforts to raise money for two Nampa families dealing with cancer.
Students from Skyview, Nampa, and Columbia high schools, will sell t-shirts, wristbands, have a raffle and a silent auction, with all of the proceeds going to a Nampa third grader and a parent of two Skyview students both battling leukemia.
What a great idea! To plan these efforts during a game that they know will draw a huge crowd and do something great for local families going through such a difficult time. They even created a hashtag that they hope will spread the word, #nampatacklescancer.
