Kuna Boy Beats Cancer and Becomes Deputy For a Day
A young boy from Kuna who has already beat cancer was able to have his dreams come true. Our friends at KTVB first told the story of Aden Schmidt.
The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Idaho Chapter named Aden their "Boy of the Year." He recieved his own police uniform during the event so he was ready to visit the Meridian Dispatch Center.
Aden's mom says that this is the only thing he has ever wanted to do. He has so much respect for the uniform.
Aden was two years old when he was diagnosed with T-cell lymphoma. After spending three years in and out of the hospital he is back to living a normal life.
During his Deputy for a Day full Aden said he really enjoyed playing with the dogs, trying on the vest, hat, shield, and being in the car pushing the siren and looking at the computer.
