Why is Jury Duty On The Rise in Idaho? Expect Your Letter Soon

Idahoans all over the state are experiencing this same strange phenomenon in recent weeks:

A letter in the mail summoning them for jury duty.

While one could argue that this is not a strange phenomenon at all… In fact, it is a civic duty that everyone will most likely experience at some point in their life or another. 

However, this is actually an entirely different situation altogether, because people are getting letters left and right.

Within the last two weeks alone, we have personally witnessed five separate people getting letters for jury duty, and it begs the question…

Why are more people being called now?
