You know what sucks even more than paying bills? When said bills go up in price for no reason!

What's going on with my water bill in Boise? Should I start selling internal organs?

I mean, maybe?

Here's the deal. A French company called Veolia, one of the largest water utilities on Earth, agreed to increase their rates here in the Treasure Valley. And, it won't be just a couple of cents. Veolia has agreed to raise their rates by almost 12%.

What's even crazier is, they initially wanted a raise of 20%.

We're not saying the French water company is being greedy, but holy hell. The French water company is being very greedy.

So, what can you do to combat your higher water bill? Absolutely nothing, other than try to use less water. We'd love this story to have a happy ending or lifehack, but it only ends with us paying more money to use things we need to survive.
