Over 8 Million View Viral ‘Dancing Firefighter’ at Boise Birthday Party

Viral moments in Idaho? They're happening more and more.

Is it because there are cameras literally everywhere these days? Or is it just that Idaho can, from time to time, be a peculiar place. Whether it's a crazy sporting event moment, a peculiar political rant, or something that is just 'so Idaho', it seems that the internet has a way of tracking us down.

One video that recently went online courtesy of a local Treasure Valley DJ has made the rounds online and now has well over 8 MILLION VIEWS!

We recognize the setting immediately. Boise's beloved Train Depot. There appears to be a party going on, which the local DJ, Jesse D, clarified is a birthday party.

It doesn't take long to notice the dance floor is on fire...with a....firefighter???

According to DJ Jesse D, the Boise Fire Department stopped by for a routine event 'check' as the depot is a City of Boise facility. One of the firefighters, who is apparently a skilled dancer, asked to dance with the birthday girl.

What happened next? Nobody was expecting.

Of course, 8 million views later, this 'dancing firefighter' has the internet talking, too...

At the core of all of this fun video? Just another example of these special moments that happen in Boise and that make our city so special.
