Will The Boise Airport Be Adding 5 Exciting Nonstop Destinations?
Living so close to the Boise Airport is fantastic! My wife and I love to travel as much as possible. When we travel, we usually see family in Denver, St. Louis, California, Houston, or Washington. I'm sure you'll have something to say, but we love Southwest. I won't go too deep into why we like to use Southwest, but that doesn't matter. It doesn't matter who you choose to fly with. There's a 90% chance of you having a layover somewhere, and flying to the east coast takes forever. You better plan another day just for travel.
According to o BoiseDev, the Airport Director Rebecca Hupp addressed the Boise Metros Cahmber's annual Leadership Conference in Sun Valley early last week and said they want to add more non-stop destinations.
The Boise Airport offers 26 non-stop destinations, which had me thinking, Where do you want those non-stop flights to go?
I put that question out to our listeners, and we got a great response on Facebook. BoiseDev continued to say high on the priority list for the Boise Airport are Orlando, Florida, and the Washington, DC area.
If I could choose where the Boise Airport should fly non-stop, it would be Orange County (Southwest), St. Louis, and Nashville. The Boise Airport celebrated 97 years of service in April, and in March, the Boise Airport announced that Southwest Airlines' new schedule extension would start a weekend service to Long Beach Airport in October, adding to their list of nonstop destinations. In 2022, the Boise Airport welcomed nearly 4.5 million passengers, marking its busiest year on record.
