
Idaho State Police Need Help Solving Hit and Run
ISP Asking Public to Help Identify Jerome County Hit and Run Driver
Idaho State Police are asking for help from the public as they work to identify the driver involved in a hit-and-run crash in Jerome County.
According to information provided in an Idaho State Police press release, the crash happened around 6:35 p.m. on February 1 at the southbound US 93 intersection with Crossroads Point.

Crash Reported at Busy Jerome County Intersection
Investigators say a vehicle traveling southbound on US 93 rear-ended a 2020 red Toyota Corolla at the intersection.
After the crash, the other driver reportedly pulled into the Valley Country Store parking lot. Instead of staying at the scene, police say the driver then left and traveled northbound on US 93.
Suspect Vehicle May Be a Black SUV
Idaho State Police say the driver was described as a young male.
The suspect vehicle is believed to be a black SUV with damage to the front passenger side. Investigators also say the license plate may contain the characters '1B,' which is commonly associated with Bannock County registration.
Idaho State Police Ask Witnesses to Come Forward
Anyone who witnessed the crash, saw a vehicle matching that description, or has information that could help identify the driver is asked to contact Idaho State Police Dispatch at 208.846.7500.
