I’ve Become One of Those People: I’m Counting Down To Binge…

Do you have THAT show?  That one that you binged to start your love affair?  The one that you can't wait to talk to others about?  The one you can't wait to binge again?  Here's mine!

Money Heist on Netflix.

This show is amazing and it's not what I would usually be so fanatical about.  It's a drama-meets-thriller, originally aired in Spain and shot in Spanish (dubbed for English, more on that in a moment), and it's one of the most intricate and well developed plots I've ever encountered.

I remember hearing a quick mention about it from someone at some point and then my best friend fell deep into the rabbit hole.  In a matter of days he was done with the first season and well on his way to the second.

As he kept talking about it, it sounded like a show I would enjoy, but I didn't feel I had the time to invest in falling for another show so I held off a few days.

I was waiting for a repair at my house and killing time one day when I started the first episode, and I was quickly hooked.

It was strong from the very first moment, and even in early episodes as I attempted to figure out who was who, I was hooked.

The dubbing in this show is pretty amazing too.  Originally shot in Spanish, it's completely dubbed in English, and they do a pretty amazing job making things fit.  In fact, so much so, that it doesn't sound right when you hear the actual actors speaking in their real voices.

If you haven't found this show yet, Part 4 launches April 3rd on Netflix.  I've already been planning with the best friend to do a viewing party, and I've never felt compelled to do that on the release of a season before.

Trust me, if you're looking for a great binge, this is definitely it.
