If You Want to See a Bunch of Waterfalls at Once Head to Idaho’s City of Waterfalls
It's that time of year again! The snow is melting in the mountains making way for spring runoff. We are extremely lucky that we live within a few hours of some of the most amazing waterfalls in the country including the granddaddy of them all, Shoshone Falls. It's even bigger than the better known, Niagara Falls, but that's just the tip of the waterfall iceberg here in Southern Idaho. Take a look!
There are eight different major waterfalls included as a part of the City of Waterfalls, plus numerous other smaller falls in the area. And they are all located so close to each other, that you can actually visit all eight in one afternoon. Where else in the country can you do that?
If you’re into seeing some or all these waterfalls this spring, you are in luck as all are within three hours of Boise so grab your family, the video camera and have some fun exploring some of the great waterfalls of Southern Idaho.
Here a video of a few of the eight that make up the city of waterfalls and a link to all eight!
