If you heard your neighbors screaming out their front doors last night around 9 o'clock, they were participating in the "Scream Out Your Front Door" event to show support for healthcare workers amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Here's how you can take part.

We read this morning that cities like New York and Atlanta are showing similar displays of gratitude by clapping out their windows at 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. for doctors, nurses, and all essential workers who may be working overtime or risking their own lives during the Coronavirus pandemic.

Here in Idaho, where it's not so densely populated, clapping may not get noticed, but screaming sure does!

We hope to see this event continue at 9 o'clock every night, so share the idea with your neighbors, family and friends and we hope to hear hollers of joy tonight.

The Facebook page that started this event told idahonews.com,

"If you choose to scream, let's cheer for healthcare and for all those essential workers out there. Let's scream for losing our jobs. Scream because hoarding is stupid and toilet paper is basically currency. Scream because we're in this together."
