Married 11 Times: Whatever Happened to Idaho’s Famous Runaway Bride?

Move over, Julia Roberts.

Did you know Idaho has its own version of Roberts' Runaway Bride Monette Dias, featured on TLC's "Addicted to Marriage" in 2021, has strolled down the aisle 11 times. But whatever came of the woman dubbed by the media as the "divorce queen?"

Like Roberts' 1999 rom-com character afflicted with a chronic case of cold feet, our Idaho bride certainly had a knack for saying "I do." As audiences expected, Roberts eventually found American Gigolo star Richard Gere and settled down.

Was Dias' 11th wedding her last?

Three years later, Dias appears to be unwed. Is the UK and Australian author, wedding planner, and interior designer still searching for her soulmate?

According to a Facebook post shared on August 25, Dias is prioritizing her personal and professional well-being these days.

I started a new job a month ago. I knew it was for me, and I turned down [other] for-sure jobs to have the one I wanted. I have never loved a job or helping people more than [I have] working for Nuvia! I love a good smile!

Good for her! It's refreshing to see Idaho's former "runaway bride," investing in herself and prioritizing her own happiness. After enduring the painful ends of 11 marriages, she's focusing on her own needs and future, and we're happy for her.
