TVSL: where athletes & "athletic'ish" adults have fun

Treasure Valley Sports Leagues (TVSL) is where Boise grown-ups get to relive the glory days of recess with groups of like-minded locals.

What started out as one guy with the dream of bringing people together in 2019 has evolved into one of the Boise-area's best-loved nonprofits. Inspired by Gameday Boise, a Treasure Valley sports league that closed its doors after nearly a decade, founder Chet Beebe kicked off TVSL with just seven flag football teams.

Thanks to the addition of Allen Moya, Beebe's business partner and the official "facilitator of fun," great pals, word of mouth, and a little social media magic, TVSL has become the Boise area's premier adult recreation league.

Treasure Valley Sports Leagues is for everyone.

TVSL is more than a place for Boiseans to flex their athleticism. And while TVSL has a wide index of highly competitive and genetically gifted members, there's plenty of room for what Beebe and Moya describe as "atheletic'ish" locals to join in.

That's because TVSL isn't a run-of-the-mill adult rec league. It's an engaging, inclusive community that opens its doors to everyone. So, whether you're in it to win it or to have a beer while you have a blast on a cornhole team, TVSL's underlying goal is for members to make new friends and memories.

Beer Olympics & Upcoming Events

This past weekend, TVSL hosted the Beer Olympics, one of its biggest banner events of the year. In addition to gold medals and sweet TVSL swag, winners walked away assured of their supreme beer consumption skills.

But the fall fun has only just begun! This Saturday, August 31st, the nonprofit is hosting a Cornhole Tournament at Cinder Winery. And for those who want to live out their long harbored, impotent MLB dreams, September 28th marks TVSL's 3rd Annual Wiffle Ball Tournament at Boise Hawks Memorial Stadium.

Not up for wiffing a homerun? That's cool. Just being part of the crowd, enjoying the food and the frothy adult beverages will be a fantastic time.

NPC's are welcome.
