Dangerous Collision With A Deer On An Idaho Ski Slope Goes Viral
Most people go skiing and have a great time with friends and family, and that's where the story ends. But, when one Idahoan went skiing this week, the skiing was a footnote in a larger, almost ridiculous story that would rival a cartoon starring Goofy.
According to Whiskey Riff, professional skiers Karl Fostvedt and Wing Tai Barrymore went skiing in Sun Valley with their friend Harlan. A group of deer ran across the slope, and Harlan could not avoid crashing into one.

This is where the story takes a much darker turn for most people. You'd expect to hear about the ski patrol, medics, and possibly even a coroner, but Harlan isn't most people.
According to the report, Harlan heard the deer's neck snap and was killed immediately on impact. Again, for most people, this is where the story ends with Fish and Gaame coming to remove the deer's lifeless body, but like we told you, Harlan is not most people.
Harlan threw the deer on his back, skied the rest of the way down the hill, and loaded the deer into his vehicle to harvest the meat.
If you heard this tale from a friend at a party, you would think it was fun and interesting, but it is about as true as the sightings of Sharlie, the Payette Lake Monster. But unlike Sharlie, there is actual video evidence of this ski encounter, and it's not grainy like the kind you see of Bigfoot. Hunting Lover Life posted the video to Instagram, so you know it's legit. See for yourself below.
