18 Things Idahoans Must Never Flush Down the Toilet

Do you know the three P's of plumbing & flushing?

There's no elaborate mystery behind what it takes to keep your flusher flushing, y'all. For us, keeping our toilets free of clogs is as easy as following the three P's of plumbing and flushing. The only things going for a ride on our porcelain expres are pee, poop and (toilet) paper.

Why? Admittedly, we had several horrifying, come-to-Jesus commode moments before we started practicing the three P's. Since then, our toilets have been drama-free and flushing smoothly.

Unfortunately, toilets in many Idaho homes moonlight as trash bins. 

As you can imagine, that's not good 😳

Is there a state run on bathroom trash bins we haven't heard of? Have our fellow Idahoans never experienced the terror of the toilet bowl water rising to the rim before their helpless eyes?

Maybe it's that they've never had to choose to between paying a plumber to unclog the toilet their seven-year-old stuffed with PlayDoh over the rent that month. Whatever the reason, Idahoans are paying big-time for their flushing faux pas. Forbes reports the average toilet plumbing job will cost homeowners between $150 to $400. Yikes!

Whether they're ignorant of the catchy three-P acronym...

or they're lazy and choosing to ignore it, the Personal Care Insights blog says our neighbors are flushing a number of hazardous unflushables without a second thought.
