Things You Need To Know Before Holiday Shopping on Boise Facebook
Look, I get it - the holidays can be a difficult time, and sometimes shopping for a bargain deal is the best way to go. As a father of three kiddos, I absolutely get it. Now, as much as I support getting a bargain deal, I've quickly learned that the world of Facebook Marketplace can be quite the... how should I say this... experience? You truly never know what you're going to stumble across.
I'll never forget when I was a kid, I must've been about 8 years old, I went to school with this kid named Will. Will had an older brother but I can't honestly remember his name. I just remember during the school holiday break, I was hanging at Will's house (his family ran a kennel for animals out of their house, so there was always something happening), and his dad came home with a giant Chuck-E-Cheese helmet. Like, a legit full-on Chuck-E-Cheese mascot helmet as a present he got from the white elephant thing they did at his Christmas party. Is that the type of stuff you'll find on Boise's Facebook Marketplace? Possibly. Anything is possible.
The man was annoyed about it too. Like really annoyed.
We were in the other room playing some Mortal Kombat when we just heard Will's dad set that big mouse head down on the table and said, "F this! I'm going to Church's Chicken."
I never saw the guy again. Like, ever. My guess is that the guy was so upset about the Chuck-E-Cheese helmet that he just got lost while venting his frustrations.
So, I guess what I'm trying to say is - don't put someone in the position that Will's dad was put in by doing your holiday shopping on Boise's Facebook Marketplace. I found some crazy stuff that could surely send someone over the edge on a bad day like a mannequin. Think before you shop.
