Help Boise Fire Fighters Support Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

Ever year our brave fire fighters from Boise come together and raise funds to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society by participating in the stair climbing challenge. KIVI started spreading the news this year about the challenge which happens every year downtown Seattle at the Colombia Center which stands 788 feet tall. The climb is 69 flights of stairs and 1,356 steps.

On March 10, 2019 over 2,000 firefighters from around the world will join forces to support the mission of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The huge event, fundraiser, and awareness day is always sold out and only open for participants that have a career as a firefighter or are a volunteer.

The climbing challenge also includes each firefighter to be in full equipment which weighs around 50 pounds. As you can expect the Boise firefighters would love your support now so they can have a strong start to their fundraising efforts. If you want to make a donation click here.
