Goatpocalypse? Over 100 Goats Eat Neighborhood’s Landscape
Imagine you're heading out the door for work and you notice a goat in your lawn. Ok, weird...maybe it's wandered off from his home. Then you see another and another, and then suddenly you realize there are more than one hundred hungry goats snacking on your grass and pretty flowers! That actually happened in a Boise neighborhood earlier this morning.
According to KTVB, the goats were first spotted on Summerwind Drive off of Five Mile Road at about 7 a.m. When animal control arrived, they realized very quickly that one truck wasn't going to do the trick. Around 8:30 a big truck from the company We Rent Goats rolled through the neighborhood. Things started making a little bit of sense. You can actually rent goats to graze weeds on your property that could pose a fire threat. Turns out these cute little suckers were grazing nearby when they escaped and found something yummier to munch on throughout the Boise neighborhood.
According to KTVB, employees with the company were able to get them all back on their truck and the feasting came to an end. What a way to wake up in the Treasure Valley! Read the full story HERE.
